Director's letter

A centre without a theme, SSSHARC is a unique contributor to the ±¬ÁÏÍõ research ecosystem. Our value resides not just in what we do but how we do it and who we bring onboard. Whatever their disciplinary origin, all SSSHARC-supported projects share certain qualities: they are creative, inclusive and generative of change.

SSSHARC’s research culture is marked by a high degree of informal exchange between researchers, practitioners and creatives who bring different disciplinary skillsets and experience to problem solving.

Through its flagship Research Impact Accelerator program, SSSHARC champions team-based approaches to research. We provide research strategy and design expertise, including project management, stakeholder engagement services and communications support.

Our diverse team can assist with everything from grant writing to participant recruitment. Our research support officers have backgrounds in interactive design, storytelling and performance. If you have a project or partnership that could benefit from the intellectually rich environment of SSSHARC, please get in touch. We are particularly interested in social enterprise and other models of sustainable research.
