First Teaching Area
A first teaching area in Geography requires completion of a major or a minor from the Geography table of units of study.听
GEOS-coded units of study completed must have a balance of human geography units and physical geography units.听
Second Teaching Area
A second teaching area in Geography requires 24 credit points from the Geography table of units of study, comprising:
(i) a maximum of 12 credit points in 1000 level in GEOS-coded units of study聽聽
(ii) a minimum of 12 credit points in 2000 or 3000 level in GEOS-coded units of study
Note: Selected units to be balanced between units designated Human Geography and Physical Geography, as listed in the SSESW Unit of Study Selection Guide.听
