The Animal Production major develops an integrated understanding of the science underpinning ethical, efficient and sustainable animal production. Students examine how nutrition, reproduction, genetics, body systems and production environments influence animal health, wellbeing and productivity, and apply this knowledge to optimise production and product safety. The major combines practical experience in farming settings with innovative technologies and evidence-based problem solving to address real-world challenges in animal production.
Requirements for the major and minor in Animal Production are listed in the .
