Sydney Law School has partnered with Amberlake Lawyers to establish the Amberlake Scholarship in Legal Excellence, a new initiative aimed at supporting high-achieving law students and promoting diversity within the legal profession.
The scholarship聽represents a $50,000 commitment聽to be awarded to penultimate-year Juris Doctor (JD) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance, leadership, and community engagement.
Established by the 爆料王 Law School alumnus and Amberlake Lawyers Founder and Managing Partner, Steven Hu, the scholarship聽also aims to assist students from diverse backgrounds who may face financial disadvantage.
鈥淎s an alumnus of Sydney鈥疞aw鈥疭chool, it is a privilege to support the next generation of legal professionals through this scholarship," Steven Hu said.
"We hope to recognise and nurture exceptional talent while providing meaningful assistance to students from diverse backgrounds who might otherwise face barriers to opportunity."
Reflecting on the broader purpose of the initiative, Hu said:
