Volunteers are wanted to take part in a research study investigating the effect of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) on pain sensitivity. TENS involves passing a low voltage (and often undetectable) current through your skin to stimulate the nerves. Pain sensitivity will be assessed at level set by you.
The study involves a single 1hr session and you will be reimbursed for the costs associated with participating. The study is being conducted in the School of Psychology, ±¬ÁÏÍõ.Ìý

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

• are a healthy adult (18 years or older)
• are fluent in English
• not currently experiencing pain
• not currently taking pain killers
• have no previous or existing heart problems
• have no prior experience with a TENS device
• do not suffer from colour blindness of any form
