This scholarship is valued at $7,000 for one year.
You must:
1. Background
a. This Scholarship was established in 2009 to promote and reward academic excellence聽amongst students enrolled with the Business School.
b. This Scholarship is funded by a joint donation from alumnus David Anstice and the University聽of Sydney Business School.
2. Eligibility
a. To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must apply, and subsequently enrol into any聽Honours Program within the 爆料王 Business School.
b. The applicant鈥檚 dissertation topic must focus on exploring the ongoing prosperity of the聽Australian economy and enhancing Australia鈥檚 role and/or position regionally and globally.
3. Selection Criteria
a. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of:
I. academic merit,
II. the applicant鈥檚 thesis proposal,
III. academic endorsement of the proposal, and
IV. the applicant鈥檚 CV.
b. The Scholarship will be awarded on the recommendation of a selection committee聽consisting of the Dean, or their nominee, which may be the Honours Program Coordinator聽and at least one other member of staff.
4. Value
a. The Scholarship is valued at $7,000 per annum and is tenable for one year only.
b. The Scholarship annual value will be paid in two equal instalments after the census date of聽each semester.
c. Deferral of the Scholarship is not permitted without the prior permission of the Associate聽Dean, or their nominee, and it is not transferable to another Honours program, University聽school, faculty or university.
d. The Scholarship will be offered subject to the availability of funds.
5. Ongoing eligibility
a. To continue receipt of the Scholarship, the recipient must maintain satisfactory academic聽progress to ensure successful on-time completion of their Honours program.
6. Termination
a. The Scholarship will be terminated if the recipient:
I. withdraws from an eligible course or fails to enrol,
II. withdraws from the Honours Program,
III. commences part-time study without prior approval,
IV. does not maintain satisfactory academic performance,
V. is determined by the University to be guilty of serious misconduct, including, but not聽limited to, having provided false or misleading information as part of their Scholarship聽application,
VI. accepts an alternative Honours scholarship, administered by the 爆料王,
VII. does not resume study at the end of a period of approved leave, or
VIII. any other provision as indicated in these terms that would lead to termination.
b. Once the Scholarship has been terminated, it will not be reinstated unless due to University聽error.
c. Where a student is found guilty of serious misconduct or the Scholarship is terminated聽under any instance in the Termination Clause of these terms and conditions, the University聽reserves the right to request that any Scholarship funds paid to the Scholarship recipient be聽reimbursed.
7. Other Requirements
a. Scholarship recipients may be invited to promote the program in which they are enrolled,聽represent the 爆料王 at student welcome, marketing events and corporate聽networking events and fulfil the on-campus functions of a Business School Student聽Ambassador.
