1.聽 聽 聽 聽Background

a.聽聽聽聽聽 This Scholarship was established in 2022 to support students studying Doctor of Dental Medicine at the 爆料王 School of Dentistry to undertake research activities.

b.聽聽聽聽聽 This Scholarship has been donated by Colgate-Palmolive Pty Ltd, and it鈥檚 referred to as the 鈥淐olgate Research Scholarship鈥�.

2.聽聽聽聽聽 Eligibility

a.聽聽聽聽聽 Applicants must be enrolled full-time in Doctor of Dental Medicine at the 爆料王 School of Dentistry, at the semester of scholarship application submitted.

b.聽聽聽聽聽 Applicants must have received acceptance of:

聽 聽 I.聽 聽 a publication, or

聽 聽II.聽 聽 an abstract for an oral or poster presentation at a conference.

3.聽聽聽聽聽 Selection Criteria

a.聽聽聽聽聽 The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the quality and impact of the output.

b.聽聽聽聽聽 The Scholarship will be awarded by the Head of School and Dean, Sydney School of Dentistry, or their nominated delegate(s).

4.聽聽聽聽聽 Value

a.聽聽聽聽聽 The Scholarship is valued at up to $2,500.

b.聽聽聽聽聽 The exact Scholarship value will be stipulated in the Scholarship Offer Letter and will be paid as a one-off payment.

c.聽聽聽聽聽 The Scholarship will provide funds for the following:

聽 聽 聽I.聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 publication costs for high-quality journal only, or

聽 聽 聽II.聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 conference costs for conference registrations only.

d.聽聽聽聽聽 The Scholarship will not provide funds for conference traveling costs.

e.聽聽聽聽聽 Deferral and/or suspension of the Scholarship is not permitted.

f.聽聽聽聽聽聽 The scholarship cannot be transferred to another University school, faculty or university.

g.聽聽聽聽聽 The Scholarship will be offered subject to the availability of funds.

h.聽聽聽聽聽 No other amount is payable.

5.聽聽聽聽聽 Ongoing Eligibility

a.聽聽聽聽聽 None apply.

6.聽聽聽聽聽 Termination

a.聽聽聽聽聽 The Scholarship will be terminated if the recipient:

聽 聽 聽 聽 I.聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 withdraws from an eligible course or fails to enrol,

聽 聽 聽 聽 II.聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 commences part-time study, or

聽 聽 聽 聽 III.聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 is determined by the University to be guilty of serious misconduct, including, but not limited to, having provided false or misleading information as part of their Scholarship application.

b.聽聽聽聽聽 Once the Scholarship has been terminated, it will not be reinstated unless due to University error.聽

c.聽聽聽聽聽 Where a student is found guilty of serious misconduct or the Scholarship is terminated under any instance in the Termination Clause of these terms and conditions, the University reserves the right to request that any Scholarship funds paid to the Scholarship recipient be reimbursed.
