Attach the following for each unit of study in your application.

Detailed unit of study outline

This needs to be issued by the institution for the session and year you completed it. We won't accept outlines you created using a template or purchased online.

Outlines need to include:

• unit of study code and name
• academic level, for example first year
• credit point value
• learning content, including weekly schedule of topics covered
• method of teaching and assessment
• number of teaching hours
• reading list
• prescribed and recommended texts and reference books
• information on how many units of study in total were required to complete the degree you were undertaking
• in some cases, you may also be asked to provide a portfolio of work
• for Law units, the number of face-to-face teaching hours and the required word count for each assessment item.

Certified copy of your official academic transcript

This needs to be a certified copy and include:

• the units of study you completed
• the grades you received
• an explanation of the grading system used at the institution.

We won’t accept a results notice or online printout of your results.

Alternative options

You can also provide any of the following.

• My eQuals copy: You can provide a pdf copy of your transcript downloaded from My eQuals.
• Shared link: If you can’t obtain a copy of your transcript but have a shared link from your institution, you will still be able to complete your application. You should upload a Word document that explains how we can use the shared link to access your transcript file. We will contact you if needed.
• Direct transfer: If your institution will only send transcript copies directly to another institution, ask your institution to send a copy of your official transcript to sc.credit@sydney.edu.au. In the application, you will need to upload a copy of your correspondence with your institution as your transcript file.

You don't need to provide supporting documents for units you completed at the ±¬ÁÏÍõ as we'll have it on record.

This is the approval letter we sent you when you applied to undertake the cross-institutional study. When completing your credit application, you'll upload this letter instead of unit of study outlines.

Certified copy of your official academic transcript

This needs to be a certified copy and include:

• the units of study you completed
• the grades you received
• an explanation of the grading system used at the institution.

We won’t accept a results notice or online printout of your results.

Alternative options

You can also provide any of the following.

• My eQuals copy: You can provide a pdf copy of your transcript downloaded from My eQuals.
• Shared link: If you can’t obtain a copy of your transcript but have a shared link from your institution, you will still be able to complete your application. You should upload a Word document that explains how we can use the shared link to access your transcript file. We will contact you if needed.
• Direct transfer: If your institution will only send transcript copies directly to another institution, ask your institution to send a copy of your official transcript to sc.credit@sydney.edu.au. In the application, you will need to upload a copy of your correspondence with your institution as your transcript file.

If you're a current ±¬ÁÏÍõ student and you completed an exchange or non-exchange program, you need to upload your official host transcript to your overseas study request in Sydney Student to be considered for credit. It’s important that you don’t create a separate credit application.

Academic approval letter

This is the approval letter we sent you when you applied to undertake study abroad. When completing your credit application, you'll upload this letter instead of unit of study outlines.

Certified copy of your official academic transcript

You'll need to attach a certified copy of your official academic transcript from your host institution.

You don't need to provide supporting documents for units you completed at the ±¬ÁÏÍõ.

Otherwise, you'll need:

• course outlines for any units you completed at another institution
• a certified copy of your official academic transcript from each of the institutions you completed study at.

Your current resume (CV)

This must reflect previous work experience that is relevant to the RVL you're applying for.

Two detailed reference letters from your current or previous employers

Your reference letters need to:

• outline your professional experience
• briefly describe the tasks and responsibilities associated with your role (such as a duty statement)
• demonstrate how your experience relates to the RVL you've applied for
• include the period you were employed
• be dated and on company letterhead.

This needs to be a certified copy and include:

• the units of study you completed
• the grades you received
• an explanation of the grading system used at the institution.
